151 Proof Movies: Kingsglaive Final Fantasy Drinking Game

Our video game month comes to an end with the most recent video game movie to drop in theaters (Even if just a limited run), and just in time for the release of the game it ties into, Kingsglaive Final Fantasy, the Final Fantasy XV prequel movie, I think!

Final Fantasy is an interesting franchise in the movie space as this is at least the 3rd movie using the name, but all vastly different. One day, we hope to cover the previous 2 efforts,The Spirits Within and Advent Child, but for now let’s get to the rules!

  • Gift of the Magi – For all magical spells cast, take a drink. Take 2 drinks for any summons performed.
  • Final Fantasies – For all deaths or defeats of monsters, take a drink.
  • Cid’s Shop – Whenever common recurring elements of the Final Fantasy franchise are shown or appear, take a drink. Includes stuff like Cid, Chocobos and airships.
  • Homeward Bound – Whenever “Noctis” is mentioned, take a drink.

For more of our drinking games, check out the ever-updatedĀ Mega-List.

As always, we will put these rules to the test when we can and make any necessary amendments to make sure you have the BEST possible time while watching the movie. You can follow along by following eitherĀ @ER_NOTRĀ orĀ @Wooden_PintĀ on Twitter. Or by following the hashtag #151PM. Usually starting at 10pm ET/7pm PT on Friday nights!
