Zombie Survival Guide: Tip 3
Much overlooked in the world of fleeing and killing zombies, is anything not related to bashing, maiming, or shooting. While those are all very important in surviving and stopping a Zombie Apocalypse, so are dry socks.
During a Zombie Apocalypse, you will be on your feet 90% of the time, and it will never be weather permitting. Wet socks will not only bring down your stamina and overall health, but it will greatly lower morale. Bludgeoning zombies is one thing, but bludgeoning zombies with wet, uncomfortable feet is a completely different story. Have you ever been enjoying a nice stroll, and then walked through a deep puddle? The rest of that stroll is no longer as enjoyable, and all you can think about is getting those gross socks off of your feet. Come to think of it – have you ever had anything but a bad time in wet socks? Wet socks always equate to bad times.
Being that your mind should almost always be thinking about zombies, and not when and where to change your socks – avoid any situation where your feet may become anything but comfortable, and dry. You have two options in a Zombie Apocalypse when it comes to socks – either stock up on dry socks whenever you get a chance; or just never put yourself in a situation where your feet may get needlessly wet. (Editor’s Note: You Could Also not wear any socks. 😛 )
So Zombie Survival Tip 3: Always have dry socks.

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such fantastic information being shared freely out there.
