Cooking with Nerds: Baked Chocobo Nuggets

Welcome back hungry travelers, it has been a while since we have blessed you with a new recipe, and we do apologize for that. However, we are back and are ready to wet your appetite for chocobo with a brand new recipe, fresh out of the oven.

3 skinless, boneless Chocobo breasts (If you don't know how to make it boneless... well)
1 cup Balamb seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon soft (salt)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 Tablespoon dried basil
1/2 cup butter, melted

Now that you’ve gathered all the ingredients you will need it is time to start preparing. First, you’d probably want to find some place to cook your food. You already pay them for the night so should ask your local inn if you can use their kitchen. If not, there tends to be random bars about the world where the townsfolks go to drink and share secrets of this unknown person who has appeared recently. If all else fail, you should ask your blacksmith if you can cook while he is forging your latest weapon!

Once you have a place to prepare your food, you should pre-heat the oven to a nice cool, 400 degrees. We don’t recommend sticking your sword in there, if you know what we mean. No really, probably wouldn’t want to do it, could ruin the weapon or make it useless in battle.

And you’ll need your sword (we recommend your beginner’s sword/trainer’s sword for this) to cut the chocobo into neat 1 1/2 in pieces.

In a separate bowl, mix all of the ingredients except for the butter together. Melt the butter in a separate container.

Dip the chocobo cubes in the melted butter before dipping it in the mixture. Make sure that each piece is nicely coated.

Place your freshly coated chocobos on a baking sheet or anything that sustain the heat, and cook for approximately 20 minutes. Enjoy, and rest up, the end of the world is right around the corner!
