Nerds with Words: New Age Comic Themes

What is the hottest ticket in entertainment these days? Comic books seems to be the easiest answer. You can’t swat a fly without coming across a comic book movie release and now we have a great amount of comic book video games popping up. One area that comic books have always been a fixture though has been on TV. As far back as George Reeves donning the cape to make us believe a man can fly to Adam West dancing in the Cape and the Cowl, comic book/superhero TV shows have been a mainstay for some time.

In recent years, we have seen a resurgence on the animated front as well with no less than half a dozen superhero related cartoons airing in the last 2 years. Below, you will find the themes and openings for many of those shows. Simply share with us, the one you feel has the best theme, which has the worst and which is your favorite opening in the comments section below!

Wolverine and The X-men

Spectacular Spider-man

Best, Avengers :EMH and Super Hero Squad.
Worst: Iron Man. and don’t get me wrong, I like all of these shows.

For best one I would have to say Batman: BatB. In my opinion it really captures what the show is about. A show about crime that doesn’t take itself too seriously. For my favorite I got to go with Super Hero Squad.

As for the worst I would say Iron Man because it is actually horrible. Your typical electronic theme.
