Watching some clips of Sonic Adventure on Youtube, and I have to wonder, how does this series still have a backing? I mean honestly the franchise peaked with Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and that was some 18 years ago. I mean the Sonic Adventure games were passable affairs, but then Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 360/PS3 and Sonic Unleashed. If anything else had 10 years of crap, would it really have a loyal fanbase?
The big fanbase comes from the non-video game media namely the Archie Comics and the the Sonic X anime.
