It’s not something we talk about much on this site, but we are actually pretty big fans of board games. I mean who isn’t, from Monopoly with family to Carcossone with soon-to-be enemies, board games can be a fun endeavor. So I was excited this morning when woke up to find a link to a new PC board game, Minion Master, in my inbox. Below , you’ll find the trailer which explains the gist of the game and you can expect to hear more about it at PAX in a few short weeks!
As you can see from the trailer, the game works on a card-based system. Unlike traditional card games though, it doesn’t seem like you need to build a physical card-deck, which may be a blessing or a curse depending on your play style.
The game also functions on a grid, that the video shows you can customize to your hearts’ content. Which should make for some fun times with friends as the trailer also shows support for up to 6 players both co-operatively and competitively.
Anyhow, I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this game as it progresses. According to the website, it is due for release sometime this year.
