From one of the oldest to the most recent, the 2nd entry in our Video Game Month animation project is the currently airing Sonic Boom. Sonic is perhaps the most prolific video game character in animation, having no less than half a dozen animated series over the past 25 years.
Sonic Boom has the honor of being the first closely linked with the video game series though as it launched alongside the Sonic Boom game on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
