VGA 2011 Drinking Game

The Video Game Awards (VGAs from now on) have always been a mixed bag for gamers. While most would acknowledge the fact they don’t take the awards show seriously, we all tune in to see the latest world premieres. The problem is that you also have to sit through the pretty piss poor show to get there.

This year, we thought we would try something a bit different for the VGAs. We’re going to do a live recording of Dual Wielding during the show, and to make it slightly more interesting to us, we’ll be doing it while playing a drinking game! Now originally, I was thinking of having these elaborate rules for the show much like we do with the movies, but really as my High School econ teacher taught us, KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) so there’s only one rule and you can all play along.

Below, you will find a list of all the awards being presented at the VGAs (if they are on air is a completely different matter), you simply fill out your expected winners in each category before Saturday night, and when the awards show rolls around, you take a shot (not a drink) for every one you get wrong. I realize, the potential is up to like 22 shots in 2 hours, let’s just hope you’re great at predicting!
