Top 10 Songs that will Pump You Up (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)

Every year, millions of people sign up at gyms to get in shape for the New Year.  Millions of people also fail after a few short weeks! They need inspiration, now I’m not promising that these songs will help shed the weight off of you and get you in shape alone. They will get you pumped up and want to take your workout to the next level! Now lets get that blood pumping for this top ten count down of workout songs! Note: You should set up your playlist to play these songs in the order, 10-1 that is!

10. Jokers & the Thief — Wolfmother

This song has a great into with a guitar riff that is sure to make you want to give the workout all that you have. We all know it is a newer song but it has an old school style to it that makes you want to just rock out! It will really help you get things started Note: no air guitar solos on the treadmill that would be unwise!

9. Crank That — Soulja Boy (Remix by Travis Barker)

Not a big fan of this song at all, it was over played and is nothing special. That was until Travis Barker put his magical spin on it and made this song intense. Really you could just workout and get pumped up to the drums alone. When this song comes up on my iPod the drum intro is enough to make me want to workout all day!

8. Under Pressure — Queen & David Bowie

The bass into is amazing, granted many people might think that “Ice ,Ice Baby” is about to play, and that might work for them in the gym, but when you realize that it is “Under Pressure” then you are ready to take that workout to the next level. What can I say we are all “Under Pressure” to get that beach body! By the Way its already February, Beach season is soon!

7.  Seven Nation Army — The White Stripes

Another great intro, while slow at first, let the lyrics guide you until you can really go nuts when the chorus kicks in.  This song is just asking you to be in shape so you can take down a Seven Nation Army all on your own! That beat will get your foot tapping and ready to keep up the intensity!

6.  Stronger — Kanye West

Its true what Mr. West says, “that what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.” That should be a quote you always keep in the back of your head when you are feeling sore and do not want to continue working out. If you want to get stronger allow Kanye to get you close to that goal.

5. Remember the Name — Fort Minor

This song is the perfect half way point for any workout. This song has a great beat and an awesome chorus lyrically. The lyrics are so true, it will be a lot of pain but if you want results you need to work to get what you want.

4. Lose Yourself — Eminem

Any song about a nobody making it big is enough to get even the toughest person excited and want to get better. The guitar has quickly become a classic riff. We all would want to grab that one shot and capture it and do something with it. Let that drive you forward and even if you back is to the wall keep fighting and finish on top!

3. Welcome to the Jungle — Guns N’ Roses

This song is one that has been pumping people up for years and one that will continue to well into the future. Rap seems to be the music of choice to pump people up lately, but Classic Rock (such as Guns N’ Roses) is still what will last over time.

2. Till I Collapse — Eminem

This is the perfect song at this point if your workout. You are getting tired and want to Collapse. I just want to quote the first few lines of the song, because nothing else needs to be said. “Sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak. And when you feel weak, you feel like you just wanna give up. But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength and just pull that shit out of you.”

1. Eye of the Tiger — Survivor

We all knew that this would be the number one song. It is just perfect for anyone. The beat, the lyrics, and the movie it is associated with! You had “the will to survive” congratulations you completed your workout!
