Comic Book Dictionary: Johnsed

Being a comic book fan, there is a certain amount of jargon and buzzwords that we are accustomed to. Being hardcore comic book fans though, there are also terms that are coined along the way that have special meaning only to the most hardcore readers.

Our newest feature, The Comic Book Dictionary will help you understand these special terms. Let’s start off with one that probably hits close to home especially with the DC Reboot due out in a few short weeks.

Johnsed-

-To be Johnsed is to replace a modern character with his original (or more popular) incarnation so that the universe better reflects the one you grew up with as a child. (E.G: Hal Jordan returning as a Green Lantern, Superman’s return to the Silver Age, and the Atom)
