Well it is the most wonderful time of the year and what better way then to celebrate the Holiday Season then by having an old fashion BATTLE ROYALE beat down?! This time it will be Christmas Songs going into the ring to fight for each and everyone of your votes!
Each week in December we want you to decide on which Christmas song will emerge as your champion. Week 1 will feature Christmas Lights by Coldplay vs Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town by Bruce Springsteen.
Week 2 will feature Carol of the Bells by The Trans Siberian Orchestra vs The Christmas Song by Nat Cole King.
Week 3 the losers will face off.
Finally Week 4 The two winners will fight to determine who is the Champion!
BATTLE ROYALE CHRISTMAS STYLE WEEK 1
In the Red Corner, debuting in 2010 by the multi-platimum selling band Coldplay, we have Christmas Lights!
A song that has a beautiful video along with it, which is a great addition to any Christmas playlist. Usually nontraditional Christmas songs flop, this one however brings a whole new meaning to the Christmas season. While it may be a song about “Lights” it really is much more. Allow the voice of Chris Martin and the music video to take you in before you make your vote!

In the Green Corner, debuting in 1934 but remade in style by the Boss himself Bruce Springsteen in 1975, Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town!
The intro to this really sets the Christmas mood! The addition of the Saxophone by the late Clarence Clemons is a great memory of the legend. The song is live, which usually can ruin some songs. This one it works well for a song like this, the energy it brings is what makes this song such a special version of the classic hit. You can tell Bruce and his E Street Band are just having fun and so are their fans.
