It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
The Christmas season is upon us! (Yes, I realize it is technically still November, but in order to time coverage properly we have to get it started early) Generally speaking, December is when Swan and I decide to treat ourselves to some good movies after suffering through 11 months of crap and garbage. This year, we decided to mix it up a bit because two Christmas movies just had to be done.
The second one we’ll get to later in the month, but the first one was picked because it only premiered this week. In the previous two years, we had covered both Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York as part of our celebratory 151 Proof Movies festivities. Twas when we discovered Home Alone 5: Holiday Heist (yes there is a Home Alone 3 and 4), it skyrocketed up the list of movies we just had to check out. I’m fairly certain this is the fastest turnaround ever for 151 Proof Movies.
Let’s get to the rules!
- Things that Go Bump in the Night– This is a bit of a stretch, but most of our rules are. Whenever a “Ghost” or an illusion to a ghost is made, take a drink.
- He’ll Be the Death of Us!- Whenever the child triggers a trap, trip, gadget, tool, whatever, take a drink.
- It’s Beginning to Look like Christmas– Whenever there is a reference to Christmas either via a Christmas tune or someone saying Christmas, take a drink.
- The Sticky Wet Bandits– Whenever the burglars argue among themselves, take a drink.
We’ll be checking out the movie on Friday, November 30th. As always you can follow along with the hashtag #151PM
